Founder/Principal Consultant
- Retired FBI Special Agent Patricia J. Thompson is a career criminal investigator, former firefighter/EMT and Ohio State Trooper. She holds a B.A. in Political Science, and an M.Ed. in Organizational Leadership. She is a Director's Award recipient from the U.S. Attorney General's Office, and has received multiple awards from the U.S. Department of Justice and State Attorney's Offices in Florida and California for outstanding investigative casework. Patty was a sniper on the FBI Miami Division SWAT Team, and Crisis Management Coordinator in the Miami and Los Angeles Field Divisions of the FBI. She is an FBI firearms instructor, also certified to teach defensive tactics, tactical operations, crisis management, instructor development and leadership. Following FBI retirement in (2015), Patty took command of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) Special Investigations Division (Major Crimes Unit, HIDTA Drug Unit, Speical Operations Unit, School Resource Unit, and Traffic Unit). She was promoted to Captain in 2019, commanding MCSO District 1 in the lower Florida Keys and Key West. In 2021, she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to focus exclusively on VERITAS Security Consulting. Patty has served as adjunct faculty at the FBI Academy in both the Firearms Ttaining Unit and the Leadership
- development Unit, the University of Tenessee Law Enforcement Innovation Center, and the Qatar International Academy of Security Studies. She has worked with and instructed law enforcement officials throughout the U.S., Europe and the Middle East.
